Registering a desktop App when 2FA is enabled
When 2FA is enabled for your account, you will be asked to enter an authentication code when registering an App for the first time.
You’ll need to configure your Two-Step Authentication settings before installing the agent. You will only be prompted to enter an authentication code if you’ve have already configured 2FA preferences.

Registering the Desktop App:
- You will be prompted to enter an authentication code during the registration process.
- After you receive your authentication code via your chosen method, enter the authentication code and press the Next button. You can then complete the registration process.
Registering the Outlook Add-In:
- You will be prompted to enter an authentication code when you open Microsoft Outlook.
- Enter the authentication code and press the OK button. You will be prompted for an authentication code when you first register the add-in, when opening a new Outlook profile, or when changing your add-in credentials.
